The Latest Telegram Game with Elon Musk Upgrades and Passive Income Mechanics

  • A new idle clicker game, Musk Empire, has launched on Telegram offering passive income for players.
  • Similar to other entrants like Hamster Kombat, users can earn small amounts of crypto by simply tapping their phone screens.
  • These earnings can then be invested back into the game to upgrade profit capabilities.
  • Musk Empire lets you build your own Elon – giving players the option to improve his nutrition, sleep or even his brain power.

Crypto clicker games are all the rage right now – and Telegram is all too happy to facilitate them. The newest entrant into the P2E minigame canon is Musk Empire, a game that lets players earn small amounts of crypto while “upgrading” their Elon to boost earning capabilities.

It’s a strange little game, with upgrades not directly used to improve your version of Musk’s empire through buying businesses or expanding operations. Rather, users can upgrade Elon himself by putting levels into brain power, nutrition and sleep. There’s even a battle mode that lets you stake some of the game’s native token against your friends to see who has the best Elon.

Musk Empire Takes Notes From International Sensation Hamster Kombat

A game like this doesn’t take itself too seriously – and the premise itself is quite comedic. Of course, that’s the driving force behind Musk Empire. Taking advantage of Elon’s name and the current trend toward Telegram-based clicker games, the GameFi entry doesn’t really add anything new to the scene.

The Medium post launching the application makes sure to tell readers that “This isn’t just another boring clicker game!” while in the very next sentence explaining that Musk Empire is essentially the same thing as global phenomenon Hamster Kombat, but “better”.

Clicker Games Attracting Millions to the Cryptosphere

The rush of idle clicker games is a perfect match for the current capabilities of Telegram as a platform. These apps are incredibly simple – you earn a tiny amount of crypto every time you click (or tap) on the screen.

You can then use this crypto to upgrade elements of your character, which in turn boosts the amount of money you earn per tap. This goes on exponentially, sucking people in as it doesn’t require much attention but provides the dopamine hit of earning tiny amounts of cash.

Competitors like Notcoin and Hamster Kombat have amassed hundreds of millions of players just a few months after going live and have breathed life into the GameFi industry.

Admittedly, many in the community have long awaited blockchain tech to truly infiltrate the gaming scene, as the capabilities for ownership of in-game items and crafting a genuine economy are unmatched.

While idle clicker games are a long way from what many hope the industry eventually evolves into, they are still attracting millions of people to cryptocurrency that would otherwise turn a blind eye.

Are these games just a fad? Or will they spur the next generation of blockchain gaming?
